tomorrowsyesterday was born, in the midst of a pandemic, as a small light. In those uncertain tides, we felt the relationships around us were what remained certain. It became a place to reimagine, toward an unseen future, what networks of friendship might be capable of.

To picture an unseen future is a little like beginning to tell a story. And stories rarely begin in silence.

Our yesterdays and tomorrows cannot be held within a single narrative. The vivid present dissolves into the future, and our "now" slips, almost at once, into the near past. The weave of our community, and the histories carried within each person's interests, will shape tomorrowsyesterday through quiet experiments between those close to one another.

We illuminate the living present while paying respect to history, the past, facts, others, contemporaneity, and the self. This appears as free interpretation across many forms—text, photography, design, artwork, video—and it holds within it the contemporary creativity that surrounds fashion and style. At times, an honest gaze at existence, or a passing mood, becomes the subject that matters most.

A formal kind of objectivity, and what rises up from our networks of subjective friendship—the fact that these live at the meeting point of individual subjectivities—can become a medium of communication untouched by passing trends. Because they belong to local, underground places that step away from consumption, and turn quietly from globalism and algorithms.
