The name itself is a coined word: "homme," the French word for "man," appended with "a," borrowing the feminine noun form from Italian. That linguistic tension is intentional. HOMMENA embraces ambiguity as beauty, looking honestly at the body one is born with and dedicating its practice to crafting clothes that bring out its most beautiful expression.

The designer casts a careful eye toward subtle oscillations — between masculinity and femininity — and allows a quiet, resonant dissonance to inhabit the structure and details of each piece. Guided by the belief that "it is in the acceptance of difference that a person steps into their truest beauty," HOMMENA seeks to become a companion on the journey of those who share this moment.
